Native to Chile the Araucaria or otherwise known as the Monkey Puzzle, is an amazing tree and can be found in a lot of Irish gardens. Worth considering is how it survived the two very cold winters we had in 2010 and 2011 but i suppose the south of Chile isn’t exactly the Bahamas in winter!!
This particular tree is in a garden not too far from the canal at Ballinamere, Co Offaly
